Translation an American, a German and a Chukchi hold a competition on starving: Who can starve longer. All were accommodated in different rooms, each equipped with a telephone. If they get hungry, they can call. After a couple of days, the American calls. After four more days, the German calls. A week passes, another week, and then half of the third. The other two went to Chukchi's room. What did they see: Chukchi sits in front of the phone and talks: "Telephone, telephone, Chukchi wants to eat. Telephone, telephone, Chukchi wants to eat..."
Footnote [[Footnote::the informant has added: Tšuks ei osand telefoni kasutada) :D ["The Chukchi did not know how to use a phone :D"]]]
